Sufficient time has FINALLY passed. This was going to be something that happened more in the summer, but everything in the world seriously threw off the timeline for comics releases so I'm only about to stumble upon the one month window from release I needed.
Basically, Tommy's going to be getting a canon update. He'll be missing starting the morning of October 8th and returning in the early morning hours of the 12th, a day before his birthday with Billy. Too bad they were already planning a party, right?
He's going to be coming in post Empyre: Aftermath Avengers. Which means he's ~22, knows a LOT about Teddy and Billy's future, has finally come out of the damn closet, and is a lot happier, more confident, and more composed than he was. It comes from dating a genius who believes in you, right? He also knows about some of the serious mutant shit going on which will affect Lorna.
As part of this update, I'm also unlocking the full of Tommy's powers. So guess what? Tommy can actually make things explode now. He's totally going to show off. This won't apply to ships/plot related locations/items. Something about them will absolutely be resistant to his molecular acceleration powers. But hey, encourage him to experiment anyway, because fine-tuning it could probably mean small, targeted blasts, or heating things up.
Anyway, when the 12th (next Monday) hits I'll have a return thing posted, and maybe birthday stuff provided it doesn't conflict with anything mods inflict on us.
