SUMMER TEST DRIVE MEME

SUMMER TEST DRIVE MEME
Application FAQ | Taken Characters | Reserves | Application
Welcome to the Current Test Drive for The Revival Project!
This game is a spin-off from the closed The Drift Fleet game. For more information about the game, including more details on the setting, please check out the FAQ here or the premise here.
A thread on the TDM will be required for all applications. Please view the FAQ for information about how this works. Any questions about the game please direct to the comment section of the FAQ as well.
If you are a Drift Fleet alumni bringing your character from the game, please label your character as 'DFAU' on your top level. Also, keep in mind you have complete flexibility on how your character comes here. They could be taken before endgame, after endgame, two years after, one year before, etc. It's up to you! If you want to completely restart your character, they're not considered DFAU anymore and won't need the label.
So go! Explore Agra 10! And, as always, HAVE FUN!

Summer in Temba and Sh'Ka
In Sh'Ka there's plenty of places to beat the heat. The stone buildings actually manage to keep the heat out pretty good, and there's also a lot of shade under the large stone trees. But maybe it isn't wise to hang out under the trees, as the local Deleon population is in herding part of the year. It is rare for them to gather as a herd, but when they do it's to protect their young. This makes them way more riled up and likely to attack anything they deem as a threat.
Or perhaps when it comes to beating the heat the best thing to do is seek shelter with others. The Diner in off of the square in Temba is usually open, with food laid out buffet style if you aren't lucky enough to catch one of the local He Rows who run it. There's also the Deep End, a bar in the towers in southeastern Temba where the alcohol is mostly free to access. Just remember not to bother the Colonel and you'll be fine. Maybe you can even pretend you're under water thanks to the wall of the space that is glass and looks into the water that fills the core of the tower complex, complete with local aquatic life.

Most of the buildings are run down and have clearly been abandoned for years; fortunately, the water treatment center appears to be working and power has been restored to be reliable. What used to be stores or places to live in lies in ruins, but there may still be something to scavenge among the rubble. Do you want to risk a swim in the flooded area that has turned into a deep lake that has proven to be home to verious harmful creatures; or does it draw you to some of the more prominent and partially restored buildings, such as the hotel, the hospital or the amphitheater.
If you are lucky, you might even stumble over The Deep End, the bar located on one of the mid-levels of the tower residences in one of the residence towers. Unfortunately no bright neon signs can lead you there, but it does exist.

There be storms...
Should you step inside the storm, or even get lost in it, it will show ghosts of people you know and those you don't. It drains you of any super-human abilities and tries its best to keep you from getting to its origin. Are you going to try anyways? Or are you going to chase the whispers of people from your past? Maybe you will simply find yourself calling for help or stumble across another lost soul in need of assistance.

Volcanic Panic
In The Warrens
There are plenty of corridors and dead end rooms to explore, and even more people to meet. But the question is how you're going to pass your time while sheltering from the dangers of the volcano above. Do you know any games? Are you setting up a talent show? Or maybe you're just looking for as much information as you can find. It's all up to you.

Princess Zelda | BotW
Zelda would like to think she's gotten much better at staying composed when something frightens or upsets her which is good because waking up by a fountain with no idea how she got there was just a little upsetting. Luckily, there was the datapoint that provided many of the answers she was needing.
It gave her something to work off so she stands just in front of it and takes a deep breath. It would have been helpful to know exactly how she was expected to help the planet but no matter. Next step is to find where everyone else is, as she's quite certain there must be other people around somewhere. She turns and looks around to really take in the sights. "Well, I suppose I've seen towns in worse condition..." She comments to herself.
{ Library }
If you want information, the best place to find it is usually the library. Which is exactly why Zelda finds herself pushing the door open only to be disappointed in the fact there don't seem to be many books here. What good is a library if you can't find information there? She hears a noise overhead and quickly tries to calm her nerves.
"Hello?" She chances calling out. "Is someone in here?

Curious device, this...
Hello, my name is Zelda. I'm afraid I've only recently arrived here. I was wondering if anyone might perhaps loan me a book or two?
Arrival
But then Link's brain catches up with his eyes, and he does a double-take. Nearly loses his grip on the window ledge he's hanging off of, before grabbing back on again. Stares.
Is that...?
Immediately, he launches himself from the building. Paraglides in her direction, until he hits the ground. And then runs, straight for her.
Until he reaches her, skidding to a stop as he goes from full-speed to nothing in the space of a few seconds. He stares at her, wide-eyed and breathing heavily.
Zelda!
Arrival
"Link!" She exclaims, maybe just a little alarmed. She knows that, as her knight, he's supposed to follow her but she honestly wasn't expecting him to be here. Of course she's happy to see him-a familiar face is always welcome and his is especially welcome.
"How did you get here?" She questions, moving closer to him once he's stopped so she can get a good look at him him and make sure he's not injured.
no subject
"The Agrii," Link says. The same way as Zelda. Except he's been here for months, and she only just arrive.
"...I'm sorry," he says. Because he left her. He'd barely begun showing her what Hyrule was like now, and he'd left her.
no subject
She frowns at his apology, not exactly sure why he seems to think she's owed one. "Whatever for?" As far as she's concerned he's done nothing wrong.
no subject
Not by choice, yes. The Agrii made that decision, not him.
He doesn't realise yet that the Agrii didn't just take him out of Hyrule - they took him out of time, as well.

no subject
He just had to hope they didn't do it again, now that she was here.
"I don't want to."
no subject
"All is well now." She says reassuringly. "You're here now and that's what counts." She turns to look the small town over again.
"Now then, any thoughts on how to help these Agrii?"
no subject
If anything, it's a relief to have Zelda here. Unlike Link, Zelda is a scientist. Researching these kinds of problems is exactly the kind of thing she's best at.
Link...needs someone to point him in the right direction first.
"...I haven't seen one," he admits. "But there are smart science people." People like Zelda.
no subject
"Perhaps we should start with a library then. Often times you can find the answer to a future problem in the past." She says confidently before pulling her communicator out in order to pull up the map.
no subject
Then he thinks a little further. "...Library might be evil too." Though he wasn't sure on that.
no subject
"A library is always the best source of information, but if you're quite certain.. very well then, I'll need you to accompany me." She decides, still dead set on seeing if there are any history books regarding this place. Someone must have taken documentation down somewhere.

Re: { Network }
Maybe you can help me too. If you find any shiny crystals that seem to glow with unlimited energy, would you tell me?
{ Network }
[ Unlimited energy doesn't sound like something she wants in just anyone's hands. ]
{ Network }
Then use it to set up a ship hanger! Maybe a communications rely so we can talk to other worlds! I wanna call home. I'm sure the Chaos Council is missing me.
{ Network }
[ Yeah, if she finds any she's probably just going to give them to Link with how much of a turn that took. ]

And of course, many people find them to be quite beautiful.
{ Network }
Beautiful how? Please explain.
